Metro Detroit: Northville Sports Den

This week we ventured out to Downtown Northville, to a place that is serving up some great happy hours selections available ALL DAY MONDAY and from 1-6 PM Tuesday through Thursday.   The Northville Sports Den. This is not a new place. It has been open since around 2010. They are a family owned restaurant, located in the Northville Square business complex. There is an entrance in the rear right off the parking lot behind the building so parking is usually not a problem.

It’s a family-friendly sports bar and it’s very common to see families and/or teams come in after their kids sporting events. The atmosphere is pretty lively. The space is wide open and there are plenty of TV’s for watching your favorite sporting event.

They are also pet friendly, on their outdoor patio, so you can bring your dogs to happy hour as well.

As I mentioned their Happy Hour runs form 1-6 Mon-Thurs.  They feature a half a dozen different food items:

  • $7 nachos, quesadillas and the Den Trio which is a combination of homemade salsa, guacamole and queso cheese sauce served with pretzel bites and tortilla chips.

  • $6 soft pretzel

  • $4 fried pickles

  • $3 beef sliders

  • $1 off draft beer, house liquor and house wine

We opted for a few sliders and the Trio, they were all good but there was something about their salsa that was addicting to me.  We couldn’t pick out the flavor but it was definitely uniquely delicious.

They also offer other daily specials like

  • ALL DAY happy hour on Mondays,

  • Taco Tuesdays

  • 25% wine Wednesdays

  • 1/2 off pizza Thursdays

  • all you can eat Fish & Chips on Friday

  • 9PM-close specials on Saturday & Sunday

If you are in Northville be sure to check them out, and bring your pet, you will be glad you did. The Northville Sports Den is located at 133 W Main St in Northville, in the Northville Square business complex. They are opened Monday thru Thursday 11 A.M. until Midnight and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until 2 A.M.

Until next time . . . live well, eat well and enjoy life!
